Come and join Treeswift Wildlife & Nature on a big adventure into the red rugged soil of the stunning mallee country of northern Victoria. This vast and incredible portion of the country features some of the rarest and most unique birds, animals, and habitat on the planet. Departing from Melbourne, we’ll travel north visiting all key locations and targeting all endemic and key species of the region. Prepared to be blown away by inland parrots as we target Budgerigar, Cockatiel, Mulga Parrot, Pink Cockatoo, Regent Parrot, and a dozen more! Explore the iconic mallee woodland for Striated Grasswren, Malleefowl, Crimson Chat, Red-backed Kingfisher, Red-lored Whistler, Black-eared Miner, Chestnut Quailthrush, 4x species of fairywren, 5x species of woodswallow, and of course, the Mallee Emu-wren.
